Rachael (Raquel) Gonzales, Ed.D.
Dr. Rachael (Raquel) Gonzales is a professor in the Special Education and Graduate and Professional Studies in Education at California State University Sacramento. Dr. Gonzales received her doctorate from the University of San Francisco.
Her research centers on school based mental health, the social and emotional well being of children and youth from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, bibliotherapy and classroom use.
She has served on the national board of CEC as Member-at-Large, Diverse Ethnic and Multicultural Groups and Member-at-Large, Non-Designated and was chair of the CEC Diversity Work Group. Currently she is a member of the CA School Mental Health Policy Work Group.
